The Pavilia Hill: A Classic Elegance Interior

Private Residence with a British Style and Noble Feeling

The Pavilia Hill is a 1,324 square feet private residence located on the upper floors of a high-rise building, offering stunning views of downtown Causeway Bay and Victoria Harbor. The design features a timeless earth-toned color scheme, predominantly white with hints of blue, creating a British style and noble feeling.

The designer opted for a precise color palette throughout the apartment, utilizing beige, light grey, and strategically placed hues of blue to create a dialogue with the external cityscape. Decorative pieces like cushions and carpets, along with the marble coffee table and round dining table, add a touch of elegance to the space.

One of the primary challenges of the design was the relatively small proportion of the dining area. To address this, the designer focused on improving the unreasonable proportion of the communal zone, ensuring that the living and dining area felt spacious and well-balanced. The use of light oak paneling on the walls not only enhances the tasteful and elegant ambiance but also adds consistency to the overall design.

The Pavilia Hill project, which started and finished in Tin Hau, Hong Kong, showcases the designer's attention to detail and commitment to creating a warm and lived-in environment. By thoughtfully considering the clients' requests and incorporating their shared interests in reading and classical music, Chiu Chi Ming Danny has successfully transformed this private residence into a beautiful living space that reflects the family's unique personalities and strengthens the bonds between its members.

Chiu Chi Ming Danny's design for The Pavilia Hill was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in 2019. This prestigious accolade recognizes the well-designed, practical, and innovative nature of the project, as well as its ability to meet professional and industrial requirements.
